Greg Null Sensei - DojoCho/Chief Instructor 

Greg Null Sensei is a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) Aikikai, recognized by Hombu dojo in Japan. Mr. Null adds to his training through seminars throughout the United States as well as overseas and is a member of the Aikido World Alliance. Mr. Null Sensei began his training under James Jones Sensei at Gyokushinkan dojo in Fort Smith before founding River Valley Aikikai in 2010. Mr. Null has trained in Bulgaria, Singapore and China and routinely travels to Hombu dojo in Japan to train.  He is also certified in Aikido For Law Enforcement - Tactical Applications. Mr. Null also teaches hand-to-hand combat tactics for the Sebastian County Sheriff's Dept. and S.W.A.T. team.


Steve Rice Sensei - Assistant Instructor

Steve Rice Sensei is a Nidan (2nd degree black belt) Aikikai, recognized by Hombu dojo in Japan.  Mr. Rice has been training in aikido for many years, attaining his shodan (first degree) from Fumio Toyoda Shihan and nidan under Andrew Sato Sensei.  Mr. Rice is a certified instructor through the Aikido World Alliance. 

Robert Petty - Assistant Instructor

Mr. Petty is a 1st Kyu (brown belt with a stripe) in Aikido.  Robert has assisted in the children's program under the direction of Null Sensei since 2008.
